AgentProof Badge Usage Policy

Last Updated: [DATE — TO BE SET BEFORE PUBLICATION]
Version: 0 (Draft — Not Effective)

This Badge Usage Policy (“Policy”) governs how Merchants who use the AgentProof protocol scanning service (“Service”) may display the AgentProof badge (“Badge”) on their stores, websites, and marketing materials. This Policy is incorporated by reference into the AgentProof Terms of Service.

Operator: Reinking Software Consulting LLC (“RSC”), El Paso, Texas.

1. What the Badge Is

The AgentProof badge is a visual indicator that a Merchant’s store achieved a qualifying AgentProof Score (minimum 70 out of 90) on a scan performed by the AgentProof Service. The badge is a benchmark indicator, not a certification.

The Badge does not mean:

  • The store is certified as compliant with any regulatory standard
  • Any AI shopping agent is guaranteed to complete purchases on the store
  • RSC has approved, endorsed, or audited the store in any official capacity
  • The store will continue to pass future scans as Protocol Standards evolve

2. Eligibility

To display the Badge, a Merchant must:

  1. Have an active AgentProof account (Certified or Agency tier)
  2. Have achieved an AgentProof Score of 70/90 or higher on the most recent Scan
  3. Have completed that Scan within the past 90 days
  4. Be in compliance with the Terms of Service

3. Permitted Uses

Merchants may display the Badge:

  • On their store’s website, checkout pages, or footer
  • In marketing materials, with accurate representation of the qualifying score
  • In communications to customers describing agent-commerce readiness

4. Prohibited Uses

Merchants may NOT:

  • Display the Badge after it has expired (more than 90 days since the qualifying Scan)
  • Claim the Badge represents official certification or regulatory compliance
  • Use language suggesting RSC has certified the store as “compliant,” “verified,” or “guaranteed” to work with any AI agent
  • Modify, alter, or create derivative versions of the Badge
  • Display the Badge if the account has been suspended or terminated
  • Transfer or sublicense badge display rights to a third party

5. Required Disclaimer

Any page displaying the Badge must include, in reasonably visible proximity:

“AgentProof Score reflects published protocol specifications as of the scan date. Not a certification. AgentProof has no affiliation with Google, OpenAI, or Stripe.”

6. Badge Expiration and Refresh

The Badge expires 90 days after the qualifying Scan date. When a Protocol Standard specification version changes, existing badges are grandfathered for 30 days after RSC notifies Merchants of the change. After 30 days, a fresh Scan is required to continue displaying the Badge.

7. Revocation

RSC may revoke badge display rights upon notice if a Merchant violates this Policy, the Terms of Service, or if RSC determines the badge is being used in a manner that misleads consumers or creates legal risk.

8. Changes to This Policy

RSC may update this Policy with thirty (30) days’ notice. The current version is always available at useagentproof.com/badge-policy.
